As a trauma specialist, I understand that life is not without it's difficulties, whether you are a mature adult, university student or a youth. The times we are living in are complex and challenging and the relationships around us tend to reflect these times. If you have experienced traumatic events such as an assault, childhood abuse, divorce or separation, family violence, grief and loss; well, I am here to help. As a trauma therapist, I take pride in journeying along side my clients in a supportive and compassionate way. I take a non judgemental approach as we work together towards your mental health and well being.
I am a clinical social worker, psychotherapist. I have two clinical graduate degrees, one in Clinical Social Work, and the other in Psychotherapy. I use evidence based therapeutic modalities i.e., EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I have worked in government settings such as school boards, hospitals, and universities.
