Why hello! If you're here, you might be struggling with repeating patterns of behaviour, past traumas, a diminished sense of self, difficult relationships, or painful emotions - but you also sense that change is possible and you're ready to try something new. Together we can establish safety, get to the root of your symptoms and harness your inherent capacity to heal and evolve. I take an active role in session, so if you're looking for a passive therapist, I'm probably not going to be the right fit for you.
I will listen carefully, go at your pace, encourage emotional and somatic experiencing along with new insights, and tailor the treatment to your unique needs. I bring my authentic self to our work together – loving but direct, accepting but challenging, serious but playful, grounded but passionate, queer af and open to all.
I am an attachment- and trauma-focused, relational practitioner, working closely with you and your emotions, body, and core beliefs. I don’t simply seek to help you function better, learn new strategies, or think different thoughts – I hope to help you move toward a more developed, free, and empowered version of your self.
