I specialize in working with interpersonal relationships, emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, and grief. Together we can work on strengthening self-awareness and insight by uncovering the underlying causes of the current stressors and challenges that you may be experiencing. My practice is primarily focused on CBT, mindfulness-based and psychodynamic approaches, in addition to drama therapy. I aim to integrate playfulness and creativity when appropriate as I believe it creates a safe space in which we could explore difficult subjects beyond mere rationalization and mentalization.
I adopt a client-centered insight-oriented therapy approach. I believe that you have the answers you need, and I am happy to facilitate the process of uncovering those answers gently and safely. I hold a culturally sensitive space that welcomes individuals of different backgrounds and experiences including LGBTQ, bipoc individuals, and immigrants.
Therapy can be both liberating and challenging at once. It takes courage and openness to be willing to face the pain and the fears that one may be experiencing. I am happy to join you on this gentle walk where we work together to better understand “you”, what you are going through, and what could help you reach your goals.
