I offer counselling and art therapy near Metrotown in Burnaby. In sessions, my aim is that you will feel warmth, compassion, and genuine care. I support women and teens who feel burdened by stress, anxiety, and depression and want to help clients live life to the fullest. I use art-making to help clients gain insight, express themselves, and process emotions by incorporating both mind and body. I also provide neurodivergent affirming care and support clients in navigating ADHD and ASD. Common situations I work with are self-esteem and identity, academic/career stressors, parenting concerns, women's issues, relationships, and trauma.
I'm an RCC trained in Art Therapy at a master's level. My expertise is in human development and I have over 5 years of experience with neurodivergent individuals. On top of this, I provide care from a trauma-informed and feminist lens. I understand the impacts of past experiences and what women (especially BIPOC women) experience in society.
I believe each person has a unique identity and finds healing in creative ways. As a counsellor, my goal is to help incorporate aspects of your unique identity into the therapy process.
