Life can be a rollercoaster with many ups and downs, especially regarding life changes such as separation and divorce. With these changes come various emotions, such as anger, sadness, frustration, irritability and lack of motivation. I help navigate the world of separation and divorce to support families and children who may be in high conflict or stressful situations and who may be managing multiple systems such as child welfare and family court. I have 25 years of experience as a social worker with significant experience in assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention.
I specialize in high-conflict separation and divorce, supporting you with effective co-parenting, reunification therapy, and talking to children about divorce. I am certified as a New Ways for Families Counsellor, have completed Voice of the Child Reports training, and am collaboratively trained as a neutral family professional.
I engage families with respect, empathy and the intimate knowledge of navigating the various systems you may find yourself in. The fundamental scope of everything I do is to ensure that parents maintain a solid, healthy and nourishing relationship with their children. Sessions are held in person and virtually.
