| Français I'm a music therapist. My background is in history of psychiatry, philosophy of music, and piano performance. I often work with children and teens who are encountering obstacles at home or at school, or who show an interest in music that has proved difficult to foster. I also sometimes work with elders who are in distress, and adults who are looking for a new way. My practice is a place for people of all cultures, orientations and abilities. House calls and Zoom visits are possible in some circumstances, and first meetings are free of charge so that we can get to know each other.
Individual sessions for adults are generally 50 minutes and take place every week or every two weeks. Sessions with children are usually about 30 minutes. My office is located in Verdun (Wellington / de l'Église). There is a public parking garage across the street and a metro stop (green line) a few blocks away.
You will also find me at Westmount Music Therapy, and at Aria, a nonprofit association based out of my Verdun office that offers a music therapy service specially designed for young children.
