I am also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
I have found CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to be most useful in my career thus far, and I like to use an eclectic approach with my clients. I do not think therapy should be viewed through a ‘one size fits all’ lens, therefore I often amalgamate these approaches to form a tailored approach.
