Life has not been easy on many of us but there is always hope and there is always help, we just need to look for it. My goal is to be a supportive facilitator of change and help clients lead the lives they aspire to lead and help them overcome obstacles hindering their path to leading fulfilling lives . My approach to therapy is judgement-free, acceptance-valued, and culturally responsive.
I am someone who has lived in many different countries including Ethiopia, Somaliland, Malaysia, and Canada and thus understands that culture plays an important role in shaping our world-views and perspectives. I thus make sure to provide everyone I work with a safe and judgement-free environment to express themselves and work on their therapeutic goals.
No matter where you are at life and how dissatisfied you might be, there is always hope for change. With the right help, you can get to where you want to be. I will make sure to use my skills as well as my supervisor's guidance to help you achieve your goals. Change is intimidating at first, but take the first step and the rest will fall into place.
