We are taking the counselling office outdoors into nature! We will meet and walk at our chosen path either in St. Thomas, Aylmer, Woodstock or Tillsonburg. A comfy bench or shady shelter can work if there are mobility considerations or the weather isn't cooperating . Symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and anger are reduced when we spend time out in nature. Walk and Talk Ecotherapy is also effective in the treatment of grief, life transitions, insomnia, coping with trauma and managing difficult relationships. Spending time in nature in the presence of an experienced therapist will help you reach your goals.
I have worked in primary health care settings offering psychotherapy for the past 23 years.
Let's get on that path to feeling better! I am a warm, caring and easy person to talk to. Sometimes we just need a safe space to be heard. I am here to walk along side you through life’s difficult times.
