Through life's traumas, struggles, and injustices, our image gets slowly distorted. Our cups are emptied. We start to believe in lies and build strongholds. Anxiety and depression take control of us. Daily, we seek things that will "fill" our cups, but we can't... at least, not with our own strength; so instead, we build walls and we isolate. Let's change that narrative!
In the book, Life Together by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, he said, "secular education today is aware that often a person can be helped merely by having someone who will listen to them seriously..." I'd like to listen seriously and offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Christian Counselling.
