I specialize in supporting individuals navigating major life transitions, including health diagnoses, grief from the loss of a loved one, or your journey at the end stages of life. These experiences can trigger deep emotional and physical responses. Recognizing this, my clinical practice integrates trauma-informed approaches to provide compassionate support for individuals navigating these difficult circumstances. Healing and learning from trauma requires addressing the body, mind and emotions to build and sustain your inherent resilience and strength.
Utilizing a variety of strength-based approaches, such as Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, we will explore how to regulate emotions and find personalized approaches for people living with the effects of trauma. These approaches will form the framework for healing, fostering resilience and emotional health.
Life experiences of trauma, loss, and grief can feel overwhelming, but they also offer an opportunity to explore the root causes of what is affecting us.
