Gateways Counselling offers a safe, supportive environment to explore issues and find solutions. We have a diverse team that honors and respects diversity. We support clients in clarifying their counselling goals and co-develop treatment plans. We check-in throughout treatment to ensure treatment goals are met or adjusted as needed. We ensure our clients have strategies that they can practice to ensure they are developing their own resources. We focus on a strengths-based approach; assisting clients to focus on their own strengths. We "follow" the client's lead, ensuring the counselling process follows an appropriate timeframe.
Gateways currently has seven counsellors, 1 M Ed Reg Psych, 1 M.Sc. Reg Psych -provisional, 1 M. Ed. Reg Psych-provisional, and four Registered Social workers. They will treat you with dignity and respect. Ramona and Renee are our marriage specialists. Counsellors see a variety of issues, have vast experience and training. See our website for videos.
