Welcome to Foothills Counselling Psychology, a small private practice in Calgary and the Foothills (see website to view all clinicians). Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, traumatic invalidation, impulsive behaviours, grief and loss, Borderline Personality Disorder, stressors, wanting to find meaning, or looking to build and maintain meaningful relationships, I am here to help. Our goal is to help you decrease and change the things that get in the way of your long term goals, and help you build and live a life that you value. I provide both individual counselling as well as couples counselling.
Foothills Counselling Psychology offers CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Prolonged Exposure (PE) trauma therapy, Couples Counselling using the Gottman Method, and DBT Skills Groups for adults and adolescents. Learn mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal skills to improve your life.

DBT Skills Training Group - Sept. 13 - Dec 20/23
Foothills Counselling Psychology will be facilitating a 15 Week In-Person Adult DBT Skills Group in Calgary. Sept 13, 2023 to Dec 20, 2023, 5:00pm – 7:30pm, 15 Weekly Group Sessions Location: 5940 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary Cost: $1800 This skills group will review all 4 sets of the DBT skills based on Marsha Linehan’s (2014) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills Training Manual. Participants will learn and practice Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills. * Cost includes the group training and all required materials.
