I came into this field by accident, but after realizing the importance of relationships I stayed. My background is in working with youth, and families, aiming to meet you where you are at in your journey. Having experienced culture-clash myself, I know how hard it can be to find wellness and belonging when incongruence exists at home. Clients of all demographics are welcome.
I take on a trauma-informed and strength-based approach that is client-centred and culturally diverse. I believe in a holistic perspective. My techniques mirror elements of CBT, DBT, mindfulness, self-reflection, humanistic perspectives, and solution-focused goal setting. My site supervisor works with me closely and adds an abundance of knowledge.
Whether you're reaching out in a time of need or incorporating a precautionary step, I hope to be that safe space for you. Although I am still growing and learning in this field, I hope to provide some connection to help you reach your goals or implement positive behavioural change.
