I am a born and raised Canadian and Pakistani culturally, however I identify most with being a Muslim. I assist my clients in connecting back spiritually, to heal from trauma, and understand which cultural and societal norms do not tie to Islam. I provide you with empowerment to recognize that mental health and Islam are both important in your life.
I know what it is like to navigate challenges in mental health. I have personally overcome hurdles in my life that have given me resilience and autonomy. The most important component of our interactions is to ensure that our therapeutic relationship is strong and fits well. We will work collaboratively towards your goals.
