Is your child or teenager dealing with autism, anxiety, loss, difficult transitions, or mood swings? It’s tough to be a kid these days. My name is Stephanie, I am an Expressive Arts Therapist and Registered Counsellor and would love to support your child or teenager in navigating life’s challenges. And the best part of it? I consider playfulness and creativity as an important part of the healing journey; a good dose of humour is essential to learning new ways of responding to difficult situations. Whether we get down on the floor or get our hands dirty with color and glue: Therapy with me is fun!
I have 10+ years of supporting children and teenagers with autism, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, and challenging behaviours in the school system, and have lived and breathed art probably since the day I was born. I completed a Master in Expressive Arts Therapy and a Diploma as a Professional Counsellor.
I integrate movement, music, visual arts, and writing into therapy and tailor my approach to each child’s/teenager’s individual needs and preferences. While I have a special passion for supporting children and teenagers, I have worked with families and individuals ages 3-85, so if this speaks to you, and regardless of your age, please reach out.
