At Exist, our psychotherapists offer clients the opportunity to meet one on one with a trained therapist to address the struggles or questions that they are facing. Individual therapy is recommended not only for clients who deal with significant, acute emotional distress or crises but also for those who wish to explore some areas of personal growth or to challenge themselves with respect to some aspects of their lives or of themselves. We offer a range of psychotherapeutic services to clients (individuals, couples, families and groups).
Therapists help clients to process and integrate some difficult experiences, offer practical strategies to deal more effectively with some challenges or encourage and support clients to become more fully themselves and to live a meaningful, authentic existence. We work to facilitate each client to experience being seen and understood in their own lives.
Nowadays, we often associate the idea of existing with “mere existence” or survival. At Exist, we embrace the original meaning of existence (to stand forth, arise, emerge) and empower our clients to stand on their own feet, take up their own existence, and cultivate a life that rises above the challenges or constraints of their life situations.
