Talking is a most basic - yet most powerful - way to unravel confusion, process distress, tolerate challenges, rediscover oneself, and navigate change. I provide talk therapy to adults in a professional and engaging space, where we work toward improved mental health and wellbeing, and improved relationships with ourselves, our work, and others. For individuals, we consider identity, the impacts of early traumas, self-reliance, and self-acceptance. For couples, we highlight self-awareness, tolerating differences, relational safety, and improved communication. Throughout, we acknowledge and actively work with anxiety and depression.
I work primarily with gifted or professional adults, those exploring AD(H)D or experiencing the discrepancies between high-functioning while struggling with daily life. With evidence-based approaches, we engage compassion and curiosity, integrate thinking and feeling, consider the past and focus on the present, and work collaboratively toward lasting change.
