I can help clients with various different life challenges. I have a background in disability support. I have a sibling with autism and I am his primary support. I have worked in the field of autism support for the past 13 years. I have insight into caregiver burnout and stress. I am also able to support with anxiety, depression, work-life balance, social skills and interpersonal effectiveness. I have a personal connection to bariatric surgery and disordered eating and would love to help others going through the same journey. I can help with managing major life changes and challenges. I love to help people reach their personal goals.
I have a collaborative approach to therapy; we work together to figure out how to best support you and the changes you want to make. I start by learning about you, your values and what you want out of therapy. From there we develop a treatment plan tailored to you and your goals. I believe you are the expert in your life, as your counsellor I am your guide.
No matter where you are on your journey of growth I want to help guide you through it. I believe in letting the client set the pace for therapy and move through the therapeutic process at whatever pace is comfortable for you.
