I am passionate about the process of holistic healing. After completing a BA in Psychology, I spent 12 years in the field learning about people from various populations including disabilities, mental health, dual-diagnosis, acculturation, concurrent disorders, foster care, and justice involvement. I developed a preference to support and walk alongside people through their journey, completing a Master's in Social Work in 2021. My work experiences have included the school board, Canadian Mental Health Association, and Toronto Public Health.
My therapeutic approach often incorporates trauma-informed, strengths-based and cultural competence at the foundation of care. Modalities include narrative, brief-solution-focused, collaborative problem-solving, family systems therapy, CBT and DBT. I also offer Christian counselling services for those seeking to incorporate Biblical principles.
