At these times the professional assistance of a psychologist can be immensely helpful. I am a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of experience. I am qualified to assess, diagnose and treat any mental health disorder. I am also a health/rehabilitation psychologist, helping clients address the stress and depression associated with either chronic/acute illnesses, infertility and medical treatment. I provide psycho-educational assessment, and short-term, objective counseling to individuals experiencing emotional, health, work, school, or relationship problems. We work together to establish the goals for treatment. I can teach you a wide range of highly effective coping skills, and help you make changes in your life, thoughts, and behaviors.
As a clinical and health/rehabilitation psychologist I remain up-to-date on treatment research to ensure that my practice is as effective as possible. My preference is to employ a strength based, short term, treatment philosophy to help clients with their mood, level of functioning and balance in their life (note, I do not provide couple/family therapy).
