Welcome to my page! In my practice and as a clinician I use a practical and client-centred approach to my client's presenting issues. I also utilize a strengths-based philosophy, believing all of us are resilient and capable of managing difficult times while finding hope for better days ahead. Sometimes we just need a little extra help along the way. I offer an empathic, non-judgemental approach offering reflective feedback within a safe comfortable space. Formally, I draw on a collection of frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
My clients range from age 6 to seniors. As a mature counsellor I have been married, a single mom, remarried, and a member of a blended family. I have a personal history of being a woman in business, a cancer survivor, a mature student and many other hats. I believe my lived experiences enhance my formal education and contribute to my approach in therapy.
