I am a registered psychotherapist with over twenty years experience. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing challenges of various sorts. Whether issues are due to relational stress, parenting, life transitions, trauma, unexpected events or common difficulties that face us all at one time or another, I take a client centered approach and provide strong listening and assessment skills and helpful feedback. My education includes a Masters degree in Counselling and a PhD in Expressive Therapies. I specialize in helping those who are working through difficulties related to forgiveness.
I am a trained supervisor who has worked with many counselling students and qualifying registered psychotherapists in practice who are working toward full registration.
I run expressive art groups for self reflection and personal growth on various topics. Groups are facilitated to provide inspiration for expressive art making that will open up deep introspective opportunities for personal enrichment using poetry, music, movement and art making of various forms. (groups will resume as covid restrictions permit).
