Do you feel like your mind and body are working against you? Trauma and anxiety can often feel like you are at odds with yourself and the world around you. I can assist you to cultivate a foundation of calm, peace and stability so we can work on transformational healing and a deep and loving connection with yourself. I am a grassroots feminist, culturally responsive therapist. I approach my work from an integrative and relational perspective. As an Arab woman, I work within a decolonizing, anti-oppression framework.
Counselling with me does not pathologize your experiences but rather emphasizes the health of the whole person. We both bring something special to the counselling relationship — you bring wisdom about yourself, while I offer my expertise and deep listening. Together we build a compassionate connection and as a team we focus on bringing balance and healing.
I offer weekly, long-term telephone counselling for women. You will learn to care for your difficult emotions, sensations and thoughts and truly honour your inner wisdom. I provide a secure container from which to facilitate a deep process of healing and the cultivation of a heathy and loving relationship with yourself.
