Hi, and thanks so much for being here! I believe in an integrative approach to therapy while focusing mainly on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I work with clients to understand their thoughts, emotions and behaviours while exploring how to move forward and make changes that can impact life in a meaningful and positive way. I also explore the origins of clients’ beliefs in order to gain an understanding of who they are and why they work in the way that they do. I work with compassion and empathy in a way that empowers my clients and encourages them to take steps towards meaningful change and meeting their mental health goals.
In my work, I provide a safe and open environment, valuing the therapist and client relationship as well as our work together as a team. I will support clients through a wide array of presentations, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, obsessive thoughts and OCD, grief, burnout, body image, life transitions and interpersonal relationship stress.
I specialize in anxiety and OCD, working with clients to understand and reframe their anxious and distorted thoughts, in order to manage and reduce overall anxiety.
