The relationship between therapist and client is a fundamental aspect to facilitating change, possibly more so than the theoretical background. When we begin a therapeutic relationship, I hope you will feel supported through a genuine connection, where you will feel safe to bring your story and all of you into the therapy hour. Together, we will work through issues, worries, crisis's, life events, or the challenges of long term conditions, as a team. We will work together to look for positive change, resolutions to emotional suffering, and perhaps acceptance.
Together we will aim to develop positive and lasting change. I find that expense can be difficult and this is why I try to offer a low cost service of $70 per session. Hopefully this will make psychotherapy accessible to those who need that extra support.
I have focused my desire to learn, by studying how a positive therapeutic relationship can achieve lasting change for an individual, and how this can happen through relational psychotherapy. I am registered with the CRPO, CAPT, CCPA, BACP, and abide by all organisations codes of conduct and ethical principals.
