"Now accepting new clients." I am passionate about helping people rediscover and improve their quality of life following a traumatic event or events. I understand the fear and hesitation people experience when they first reach out for help. I offer kindness, patience, and safety to people needing support to move forward and regain a sense of relief from their circumstances.
My education and additional areas of specialization include: EMDR- Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing for trauma and PTSD. I am also trained in CBT-cognitive behavioural therapy, MBCT- mindfulness based cognitive therapy, Exposure with response prevention (ERP), assessments, and DSM-5 diagnosis. I am completing certification in Hakomi Therapy.
I offer kindness and respect to individuals, and families when they feel alone, misunderstood, and hopeless. In order for the benefits of the therapeutic healing to occur, people must be given opportunities to speak freely and honestly about their thoughts, without living in fear of being judged by others.
