I am an experienced and empathetic social worker offering you professional guidance toward personal well-being. I have experience in helping individuals and families with a broad range of health and mental health concerns; specializing in trauma, grief and loss. I work collaboratively with my clients and draw from a range of therapeutic techniques. This allows me to tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals. For PTSD- I am trained in and offer evidence-based protocols such as, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Prolonged Exposure (PE).
I have particular interest, knowledge and skills related to trauma and bereavement (with specialization in traumatic grief/sudden death and wartime bereavement). I have special interest in supporting first responders, members of the Canadian Forces and their families. I also hold regulated licensure to practice with respect to motor vehicle accidents.
I am also the owner and director of Social Work Solutions Canada, which has been providing community based services and traditional office therapy since 2009. I value my profession and serve on the provincial board of the Ontario Association of Social Workers as the Regional Director for Hamilton-Niagara.
