| 中文 I'm a trauma-informed therapist using a relational approach to help client transform unhelpful patterns, live more freely and fully, find lasting joy, and build satisfying relationships. In you I see a unique and complex person with your individualised temperaments, feelings, relational patterns, and unmet needs. In therapy, we dissect your distress from a compassionate angle and fathom how the past is affecting our present difficulties. Positive changes follow as we get to express what was repressed, clear blockages, hence expand the freedom to make self-directed choices in life. I'm trilingual and speak English/Cantonese/Mandarin.
With a comprehensive assessment comes a tailored treatment plan. The goal of our sessions: to relieve overwhelming symptoms and achieve greater self-knowledge and acceptance. We do this together by building insights, corrective emotional experiences, and adaptive coping skills.
I draw from Psychodynamic perspectives (unconscious/inner conflicts/defenses/dreams/free associations), while integrating mindful self-compassion, and somatic techniques to adapt to each client's needs .
