Life is hard sometimes. Mental health, relationship problems, grief, and the many other challenges that come with being human, can throw a wrench into our wellbeing and life plans. Leaning on support is a normal and healthy way to help navigate these realities - which is where therapy comes in. I will ask questions to help you understand yourself, your emotions, and your behaviour. This understanding can lead to clarity on old patterns, greater acceptance of what is, or a path to change if change feels needed.
Therapy can involve conversation about your past, but I tend to focus on what is going well in your present, and how you would like to live moving forward. I draw on best practices, using a variety of different therapies depending on the individual / couple, and issues of focus.
