I aim to support my clients to help navigate and explore the effects of the challenges they encounter in their daily lives. With over 7 years of experience working, I have supported clients who might encounter an array of issues including interpersonal challenges, anxiety, depression, school or work stress and transitions. In our work together, I might support you to manage unhelpful thoughts, bolster coping skills, increase confidence and mobilize supports.
My practice is grounded in an anti-oppressive, trauma informed and a harm-reduction perspective, with an emphasis on intersectionality. I utilize an integrated model of therapeutic practice which includes mindfulness-based and self-compassion approaches, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy.
I also greatly value that my clients are the experts of their lives and I approach therapy in a non-judgmental way. I am committed to collaborating with you to create a safe and warm space where we will have the opportunity to work towards identified goals.
