| Français I am well versed in providing counselling services to children, adolescents and adults of all ages. I enjoy working with people who are struggling in the various stages and different aspects of their lives. For adolescents and adults, this could involve understanding and better managing anxiety, depression, grief or unexpected changes. It could also be in a supportive role as clients navigate learning about their new psychiatric diagnosis and how to best manage it. Or it may be working with children teaching them about their emotions, worry and adapting to big changes in their lives. The help I can provide is broad and varies.
I have worked extensively with children throughout my school board career however, since retiring from this role, I have begun working with adults of all ages as they go through often unexpected changes in relationships, mental health diagnoses, and child rearing.
You will find my approach to be very inviting and natural. I use empathy, validation and a lot of humour to help you through the challenges you face.
