Over the course of 15 years working in the community sector I have had the pleasure of working with people from many diverse communities, be they BIPOC, on a fixed-income, LGBTQIA2S+, or diagnosed with a disability. I believe that everyone, regardless of their circumstance, deserves the opportunity to be heard. My hope is that by providing a supportive space you will have the opportunity to heal yourself and your relationships with your family and community.
I use a client-centered trauma-informed approach that is tailor made for you. This may involve accompanying you as you seek to make meaning of life-altering events, accept and develop compassion for yourself, commit to taking actions that reflect your deepest values, and rediscover the joy of engaging with your life and loved ones.
Please feel free to reach out. I offer reduced rates for people who identify as transgender or QTBIPOC, as well as for those who are receiving compensation for counselling through IVAC.
