There are times in life when we feel stuck, overwhelmed or alone. Relationships are complicated and difficult. Life can be stressful, confusing and painful. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I am a registered psychotherapist and work with individuals, couples and families. I believe my role as a therapist is to walk alongside you for part of your journey, holding your pain with you and working together to expand your perspective, and discover new strategies.
I use an integrative style of therapy including Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Along with these therapies, I believe our faith can be a valuable resource and will include a Christian perspective for those who prefer this approach.
I am warm and compassionate and approach my clients with understanding and recognition of their strength. It is my desire to revive people’s hope and to experience more than just survival. As we develop a therapeutic relationship, my hope is that you would find a place to be heard, understood, validated and empowered to be the person you desire to be.
