Sometimes we need someone to talk things through with so we don’t end up feeling stuck, overwhelmed or isolated. Trying to go it alone or ‘tough it out’ can lead to increased anxiety, depression and stress or other symptoms and behaviours that can cause additional challenges in our lives and relationships. Working together, we can find new ways for you to problem-solve, identify strengths, deepen self-awareness, manage feelings and reactions and tap into your inner wisdom to promote positive change and healing.
I have over 25 years of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues/ sep/divorce, trauma, stress and anger, etc., with a specialization in intimate partner/domestic violence and risk assessment, working with those who have experienced harm and those who caused harm.
In our work together, I can provide support through a variety of therapeutic approaches pulling from numerous evidence-based interventions including CBT, solution-focused and narrative to facilitate hope, positive change and healing. Please feel welcome to connect for a (free) 15 minute consultation to determine if we might be a good fit to work together.
