As the Supervising Psychologist, Careen has a long history of looking out for the underdog. Her mentorship of Associates emphasizes this philosophy. We are creative and passionate about our work. We believe that you are curious about your personal healing and growth. Our training has given us skills in assesment, treatment and diagnosis of psychological disorders. Our areas of specialty include but are not limited to the following: Depression, Anxiety, ADHD,Substance abuse, PTSD.
Working with some of the most challenging and high risk youth in Toronto, we also focus and connect well with young adults moving through major life transitions, and adults who feel stuck or overwhelmed. Our areas of focus are: depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
Careen did her training and worked in South Africa. She has 24 years experience working with a wide variety of clients from different communities and ethnic diversities. She is registered with the Ontario College of Psychologists and Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology. We have practices in Toronto, Ontario and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
