When I work with individuals, they often tell me that they can't turn off their thoughts or struggle with overwhelming feelings. I take a mindfulness approach to therapy using the ACT model, that helps you learn to manage and cope with difficult thoughts and feelings, and commit to action that enriches your life. Do you feel disconnected in your relationship or stuck in conflict? Many couples I meet often feel discouraged and lonely in their relationships. I work with couples who are experiencing conflict, loss of connection or overcoming an affair.
I have 20 years of experience working with couples to help them break the cycle of conflict, repair the trust and rebuild their connection. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method to help you look at the negative cycles that have taken over your relationship, and create new positive patterns of connecting with your partner.
Sometimes we need help with new approaches and ideas. I can help you to look at your problems from a new perspective and find strategies and tools to move you forward. I often find that as we explore these issues together, my clients gain helpful insight and rediscover their strengths.
