We all struggle sometimes - life is busy and the demands can feel overwhelming, leaving us feeling stressed, exhausted, and alone in our struggle. I've faced these challenges and my experience overcoming them led me to discover the passion I had for working with people. I found fulfillment and inspiration in hearing their stories, helping them discover their hidden or forgotten strengths, and in teaching them how to use those strengths to face their challenges.
Having overcome life changing losses, abuse, and family trauma has helped me to develop the skills needed to help my clients do the same. My practice is built on the idea of helping people help themselves. I believe we all have the capacity to overcome our challenges, we just need support along the way.
My approach is tailored to meet each person's unique needs and draws from both my own experiences and the training I have taken in many different areas. Everyone has their own way of coping, learning, and growing - I feel that an important part of therapy is the ability to adapt to where my clients are at and meet them where the work can be most productive.
