Binge Eating Disorder Support Group (6 weeks)
There is a lot of shame and guilt involved with binge eating. Feeling a sense of being “out of control” is common. Which behaviours bring you closer to and further away from how you want your relationship with food to feel? Learn about how binge eating creates short-term relief from uncomfortable emotional states. In this group, tools will be provided to help you avoid bingeing and feel at peace with food. Art Therapy- for eating disorders - adults & teens
In this group, we’ll be using art to reflect upon and guide our healing journeys. Within the supportive environment of a group and with the guidance of a professional art therapist, we will create art each week using a variety of different materials, in response to a theme or prompt. It is important to know that we will be engaging with the art materials in a spontaneous, reflective and self-soothing manner, so no previous art experience or skill is required.
