Brown Counselling and Therapy Services is a group of qualified therapists who are passionate about working alongside you to provide the tools to help you navigate though life's ups and downs. I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals and create positive change. My goal is to establish an atmosphere that is safe, warm, and welcoming, where you can feel validated and supported every step of the way. I will always attempt to provide a solid foundation of listening and trust, and am here to help guide you on your own unique journey.
I work from a person-centred lens, meaning that I put the client at the heart of their care. I use an empathetic approach that is meant to empower and motivate you through the therapeutic process. I also employ a flexible approach that incorporates various modalities to best fit the needs of my client at that time.
I work with youth and adults with presenting concerns that relate to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, intimacy, and interpersonal relations. I am also passionate about helping couples achieve better communication and to form a more secure emotional bond.
