Have anxiety, depression, addiction, isolation, anger management issues, self-harm, or suicide ideation left you feeling concerned about the quality of your life? Perhaps you’ve struggled to resolve these issues on your own, to no avail? Are you ready to take 100% responsibility for your life and committed to making the necessary changes? Due to my own inter-generational trauma, I have a first-hand understanding of where you are in your life’s journey. I’d like you to know that the act of reaching out for help is a deeply courageous act, especially for most men, as most of us are conditioned to self-isolate and suffer in silence.

You never thought you were the type that would be looking for a counsellor. You are hard working, capable and usually can figure things out on your own. You prefer laughter over tears. But something has happened that has knocked you off your feet. I get it because I’ve been there. Whether you find yourself dealing with anxiety for the first time, overwhelmed by unforeseen stress or reeling from a painful discovery in one of your relationships, I am here to help. I work with individuals in their upper teens through adulthood to regain their footing and find a way out of the hole they are stuck in.

Are you feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, disconnected or just not engaging in your life the way you want? We all experience pain, hardship and difficult life situations, and we often reach the point where it can feel unmanageable. I realize that it is not easy to reach out for support, and this takes courage and understanding. As a counsellor, I support clients to develop a greater sense of self-awareness, tap into their strengths and resources, and navigate their thoughts and emotions to take on challenges and overcome them.

All feelings welcome! Every experience and decision you've made in your life, has brought you to the present moment in time, to the NOW. I am passionate about providing a safe and caring environment where you can feel felt. Helping you connect with, take care of and honor the most important person in your life, YOU. As we all heal and integrate our past experiences, we are able to apply self-compassion, forgiveness and acceptance which we can then radiate to those around us. When we provide that safety and trust to ourselves, we are able to grow confidence, motivation and feel secure.

Only within a non-judgemental, empathetic, and warm therapeutic space, can people feel safe to open up and be vulnerable; I hope to create just that for my clients. I am a person-centred counsellor that welcomes collaborative dialogue with my clients as they discover progress, determination, growth, and celebration. Whilst borrowing from various therapeutic modalities to guide my work, I am an avid believer in the power of self-compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Inner Child work. I am also trained in providing Emotionally-Focused Therapy for couples and individuals.

Hurting people hurt people, but they also tend to hurt themselves in the long run. The need for an unbiased and non-judgemental person to talk to can serve to provide a sense of relief from the stress you may be facing in the moment. I believe that is what we may need in our lives, and I am able to serve you in this area. For whatever your needs may be, I will tailor the treatment plan accordingly and strive to find the best approach to meet them.

Although it might not always feel that way, the good news is that you don't have to go it alone. If you are feeling unfocused, on an emotional roller coaster, unmotivated, and disconnected for yourself and others, I can help. Using engaging, effective, and holistic techniques, we will work together to help you find more resilience, emotional stability, focus, and meaning in your life. My trauma-informed counselling and coaching helps you get off the roller coaster, find out who you really are, what you actually want from life, and where you want to go next.

I see clients of all ages and backgrounds, presenting with a wide array of issues and concerns. Some are seeking a long-term therapeutic relationship, and for others, a single session is adequate. I usually begin with 60-90 minute sessions, and then we can folIow-up with 30-60 minute sessions. Either way, I want to create a safe and productive therapeutic environment for clients to feel comfortable in talking about their lives. I want to collaborate with clients to help them glean a better understanding of their lives, and come up with ways to make it through their day feeling better and more confident in their actions.
