At Aligned Counselling, I have a particular interest in treating depression, anxiety, addictions, life transitions, and helping military spouses, and spouses of oil patch workers, who may be feeling isolated, lonely and sad. I believe that many mental health difficulties stem from a person's thoughts and behaviours not aligning with their needs and goals. This can come about for many reasons, including stress, recent or past trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression or other mental health challenges. Seeking help takes enormous courage and I understand it may feel overwhelming or frightening. I'm here to help!
I have unique personal experience that can help if you are feeling anxious, lonely, sad, or isolated while going through a transition in life or are in a marriage where your spouse is away a lot, such as in the military, oil patch, or a foreign-based business.
