I am a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist and Canadian Certified Counsellor. I view therapy as a process of guided self-exploration, which is best accomplished in a supportive and non-judgmental context. My role is to help you unravel the factors that contribute to your distress, identify barriers to change, and develop new ways of coping with your situation. I believe in empowering my clients to manage their difficulties by helping them build on their personal strengths and learn tools designed to meet their unique needs.
In my approach to therapy, I provide an empathic, genuine, and collaborative professional relationship through which I work with my clients to achieve their goals. I focus on a wide range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder, parenting, and problems associated with major life changes.
I have over 28 years of clinical experience and offer a high quality care to my clients. I use a variety of treatment modalities and approaches to tailor each treatment to the client. I provide therapy in both English and Russian languages.
