Personally and professionally, I have experienced the power of finding language that describes who we are and of being seen and supported in telling and retelling the stories that shape us. One of the ways we make sense of our experiences is through stories, both that we hold internally and that we share with others. It has been my honour and joy to join people in finding new and old meaning in their stories.
My work is informed by lived experience, by academic knowledge from my Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy, and by previous clinical work at the Maplewoods Centre. I share my knowledge and offer perspectives as a way of opening up new possibilities and I believe your insights and strengths are just as essential to the work we will do together.
I offer creative, collaborative, and strengths-based sessions for children, adolescents, adults, couples, caregivers, and families. My areas of focus include individual and relational sessions in support of folks in the LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, and chronic illness and disability communities and their loved ones.
