Thank you for being here! I am Ben, the founder of Dabyras Wellness and a registered social worker with authorization to perform pyschosocial intervention. I believe in exploring individual's' strengths together with them within a safe and supportive environment that empowers them to make the positive changes to live a happy and fulfilled life. I have a wide range of experiences supporting individuals, couples and families struggling with addictions, mental health issues, abuse, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, as well as relationship, behavioral, anger management, and parenting issues.
My approach to counselling is highly collaborative, client-centered, and individually tailored to meet client specific needs. My practice style is eclectic and rooted in various theoretical approaches such as psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, acceptance and commitment, dialectical behavioral, solution-focused, and trauma-informed.
We do not always have control over what life presents. Some of the times, the impacts come hard on us and can bring stress, frustration, worry and anxiety. I believe that with the right support, help and guidance, people can re-discover their path to a more fulfilling life. I look forward to walking with you through your healing and recovery journey!
