I find hope in what seems to be hopeless situations and clients trust that I can help without judgment. Listening to my clients' personal stories is both an honour and a privilege; feeling heard and understood is often their first significant step towards change. Mostly what I've found is that in my 30 years in the field of psychology and mental health, most of us can work through most of life's little challenges. Post graduate: Gottman Method Couples Therapy (level 1, 2, 3) and multiple Gottman workshops, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) certified, and multiple Sex Therapy & Psychedelic Assisted Therapy trainings. I work with youth 14+, adults, couples and families, specializing in trauma therapy, solutions focused approaches and mindfulness/CBT.
I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors: RCC 13220. I see clients in person at my home office in Victoria BC and online on Mondays from 10am - 6:30pm and Tuesday to Thursday from 9am - 6:30pm. I also offer week-end couple intensives booked directly with me.
