The Love With Boundaries Team works with loved ones and addicts so the whole family can receive the help required.
Having an addicted person in your life can feel like a nightmare and tear your family apart. In order for addiction to have a chance of healing, we must first address the dynamics of the addict's relationships with their loved ones. Many loved ones unwittingly enable the addiction to continue, sometimes because they want to avoid confrontation and conflict. As the enabling continues, the addiction continues as well-and becomes progressively worse. It is important to understand that enabling an addict is never a loving act-and only leads to more severe consequences as time goes on.

I am passionate about supporting folks with: childhood trauma & cptsd, self-criticism & self-worth, relationship and family concerns, notably adult children of emotionally immature or narcissistic parents, people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, spirituality, inner child healing, perfectionism, body-based concerns (chronic illness, pain, disease), and more.
Are you feeling ready for deeper healing? I am a somatic and soul-based therapist & healer passionate about reconnecting you to the wisdom of your body, heart, and soul. I approach healing from a compassionate, embodied, empowering & holistic perspective. You are not seen as being broken, flawed, or needing to be fixed. We will explore your symptoms together (such as anxiety, people-pleasing, over-working, low self-esteem..) and learn how to listen to their wisdom. We will use modalities focused on healing from the root cause to create long-lasting transformation.

Therapy is about wholeness, bringing our inner parts into harmony; having greater awareness and using these abilities to express our needs and establish boundaries; plus learning how to communicate effectively in order to enjoy more loving relationships at work, family and romantically.
Life can be overwhelming when we’re juggling multiple responsibilities while taking care of ourselves and others. Particularly when something unexpected arises, our balance can be disturbed. Navigating life’s challenges can also become more intense when hidden parts of ourselves, or others, arise and dominate situations, making them hard to understand. In these times, it is not surprising that so many people turn to therapy for illumination and support.

My background as an immigrant and my experience living and working in different countries have provided me with unique insights into how culture background, homeland, and family lineage influence personal experiences.
I help people regain control of their relationships and their lives. If you feel burdened by something that happened in the past, or if your current relationship is not supportive, I can help you clarify your feelings and decide on the best plan for you. Often, our decisions are clouded by emotions such as guilt, shame, anxiety, worries, sadness, and hidden anger. Once we uncover what's really going on and help you connect with your authentic self, the heaviness will lift and you will naturally know what to do. You don't have to navigate this alone and I am here to help! Check out my google review on True Presence Counselling

The cultivation of truth occurs through building lasting trust: This is the core of working effectively towards solutions and change together. A heart of non-judgment, encouragement, empowerment, and tools are provided so that you can work through trauma from the past as well as practice new ways of living in the world.

This might mean: better understanding of yourself through identifying modelled patterns of behaviour/coping, processing/healing past family trauma, (re)developing healthy relationships and boundaries, working through conflict in your relationship(s), working through grief and loss, working through though thoughts and feelings about death and dying, and more.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who brings nearly 20 years of therapeutic experience with individuals and families, including children and youth, to my counselling practice. After almost 2 decades, I know that families, and the individuals and relationships that comprise them, are unique, complex, and powerful structures in all of our lives.

The main modality that I lean into is Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Body-centred approaches.
I view the counselling space as an opportunity to re-remember what you already know. I come into the space with the belief that we are all born with everything we need. It is through trauma, adversity, oppression, systems of power and various other life-experiences that close the doors to our inner world of knowing. Just as our bodies are able to heal from physical wounds, I believe we are also capable of healing our emotional wounds when we are able to access the innate Self. Accessing Self energy can heal our more vulnerable & wounded parts. Holding space for you to turn your greatest wounds into your greatest gifts.

I weave mind-body-spirit approaches that can involve working with your nervous system & emotions, dreams, family & ancestry, attachment style, inner critic, shadow, and inner child.
I believe we all yearn for a deeper connection to ourself and to those around us, but we may find ourselves repeating unhelpful patterns, sacrificing our needs, and communicating in ways that do not support us or our relationships. I often work with individuals or couples who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, perceptions of low self-worth and powerlessness, feelings of abandonment, shame, and other forms of wounding related to difficult upbringings, life experiences, and trauma.
