I draw from my trainings in somatic attachment, EMDR, acceptance and commitment therapy and others.
I provide skilled therapy for individuals ages 18+ who are having difficulties coping with the inevitable ups and downs of life. I believe that even the most confident and capable of us can sometimes get stuck in challenging circumstances and unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and acting that takes us away from what matters most. My approach to therapy can help you learn new ways of understanding, relating to and coping with your painful experiences and encourages you to take intentional steps towards a rich and meaningful life.

I have trained in Somatic therapies, Focusing, Expressive arts therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, Indigenous Focusing Oriented Therapy for Complex Trauma, Somatic internal family systems therapy, lifespan integration, psychedelic assisted therapy and integration, PSIP, fundamental well-being mentorship & more.
I will help you access your body based intuition so that you can find answers that are right for you. Your inner somatic wisdom holds the answer to what you need to feel good. While our minds are busy trying to figure things out, our body's somatic felt sense has a sense of what resonates. For over 20 years I have helped people heal from personal, intergenerational, and collective trauma, depression, and more using focusing therapy, art therapy, EMDR and more. Psychedelic somatic interactional psychotherapy uses cannabis or low dose ketamine to help your nervous system release stored trauma.

"Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions"- Dalai Lama. Life can be challenging. Navigating those challenges can feel overwhelming at times, but you do not have to do it alone. Reaching out takes a tremendous amount of courage and I would be honoured to be a part of your healing journey. I believe that a strong therapeutic connection contributes greatly to healing and that it is essential to meet clients where they are at in their own personal journey and work forward together.

While my early background was in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I now rely on Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 1 trained), EMDR (certified practitioner), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
In my practice, I work with adults struggling with various issues from anxiety, depression and eating issues, to trauma, grief and relationship difficulties. We all have our own history of experiences, and we tend to react in specific ways under stress. While our response was likely our best option in the past, it may not be adaptive now. I can help you resolve past traumas, learn to accept what is, and move forward from there - developing ways to a fuller and more satisfying life.

I am a Certified EMDR therapist, also a Certified PC (Progressive Counting) therapist, trained in DBT, CBT-Insomnia, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Grief Counselling.
Addiction, eating disorder, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, phobia, and insomnia etc. are most often symptoms, but not the root of the problem. Very often, through childhood and adulthood, many traumatic experiences (such as bullying and abuse) left us with psychological injuries. And we use various above-listed symptoms to deal with experiences that made us feel sad or scared, even for short-term. The real healing/solution is, therefore, to clean the injuries, and develop new coping skills. This approach also applies to unexpected traumatic life experiences, such as accidents, natural disasters, illness, and grief.
