I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Although life can seem busy and chaotic at times, our time together is an opportunity to slow down, become clear, and find ways to resolve current concerns or issues from the past that interfere with living fully in the present. Your health, wellness, and goals come first. I work with individuals struggling with a wide range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, burnout, trauma injuries, developmental stages, problematic eating, relationship issues, as well as life transitions and grief.

There are times in our lives when we just need someone there. Someone who we know gets us and cares as much as we do. At times it's when it's most difficult to reach out, we feel vulnerable and perhaps alone. We can be dealing with old resurfacing trauma, or behaviors we don't understand why they are happening. Perhaps we have anxiety, depression or grief has come knocked at our door. Relationships are challenging us. We want to be met and have a sense of being seen for who and what we are. We long to be understood or simply to find new ways of being and wonder how to get there. We long for change and the knowing that we are OK.

Do you feel like you don't fit in and/or are watching the world through a window? Does life feel overwhelming and simple errands or hangouts with friends lead you to need a few days to recover? I work with queer and neurodivergent clients to answer those questions, explore identity, and cultivate relationships that work for you (whether it's a monogamous one or not)!

Life can be unsettling, overwhelming, even traumatic at times. Self-esteem can waiver, relationships can be difficult, we can become anxious, depressed, experience guilt, loss and sadness. All are normal parts of the human experience, yet not always easy to navigate on our own. My belief is that through a dialogical relationship with a compassionate other, while listening to the information our body provides, healing is very possible. I aim to create an environment which assists couples in acquiring skills to strengthen communication and connection. Individual uniqueness is celebrated as are an understanding of individual needs.

There are times in life when we feel afraid, sad, anxious, angry, stuck, overwhelmed. We can’t find a feeling of ease and contentment within ourselves. We need someone to listen empathically and without judgement, to see us for who we truly are. I’m here to help you connect to your inner knowing and heal old wounds, make sense of confused states, soothe anxiety and sadness, resolve trauma, and appreciate life again. Men in our culture require attention to how their feeling selves have been repressed. Couples, in trouble, often have a deep yearning to become relational and connected while maintaining their authentic selves.
