Hello, my name is Rahul. I am a male, BIPOC Registered Clinical Counsellor of Punjabi Indian descent. I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from UCLA, and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University. I treat a variety of concerns, ranging from but not limited to: trauma and abuse; depression and anxiety; substance use; marriage and family distress; men's issues; and chronic pain.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, anchored by client wisdom and expertise. Our work together is to develop self-awareness, from awareness of the factors that contribute to currently experienced distress, to awareness of values and beliefs that shape the ways in which we walk through life.
Once your most salient concerns are identified, we will work together to understand how these dynamics are affecting your life. We will co-design and co-author strategies to effectively mitigate the frequency and severity of your suffering. What’s more, we will begin to explore what life might look like beyond the limitations of your current distress.
